Key information
- ✓The base price starts from PLN 45 per page.
- ✓60 pages × PLN 45 = from PLN 2,700; a period of 7 days gives, for example, PLN 3,105.
- ✓Project valuation requires information about the technical result, calculations and tests.
| Volume | Action | Approximately from |
|---|---|---|
| 40 pages | 40 × 45 PLN | 1800 PLN |
| 60 pages | 60 × 45 PLN | 2700 PLN |
| 80 pages | 80 × 45 PLN | 3600 PLN |
What in an engineering thesis increases the cost?
Not only the number of pages is important, but also whether the project exists or whether the requirements need to be defined. Calculations, models, diagrams, drawings, technical documentation, test description and analysis of results vary in effort. The valuation must also be adjusted to the field and availability of a competent person.
If part of the material is ready, describe its condition. For example, a ready-made code with missing description and tests is a different task than a full consultation of the project assumptions. This information allows you to avoid overstating or understating the range.
Calculation example with an urgent deadline
The documentation of 60 pages gives a base of 60 × PLN 45 = PLN 2,700. For all work and a deadline of 7 days, the 15% surcharge means 2,700 × 1.15 = PLN 3,105. The term of 3 days means 30%: 2,700 × 1.30 = PLN 3,510. This still does not determine the price of design work requiring additional analysis.
There are different urgency thresholds for one chapter alone than for the entire work. Therefore, choosing the right range in the calculator is as important as the date.
How to prepare a quote request?
Send the topic, specialty, department guidelines, planned result, submission date and current files. Indicate which calculations, measurements, tests, or software items are complete. If the supervisor provided comments, include them in one document.
Agree on what is to be the result of the service: plan, documentation editing, calculation control, test description or formatting. Responsibility for the student's own project and compliance with university policies remains with the student.
How should you read a starting price?
A 'from' rate describes the simplest agreed scope. It does not mean every page or file takes the same effort. The same length may be a clear finished draft or a document with missing data, inconsistent references and supervisor comments.
When comparing quotes, ask what will be checked or prepared, how many rounds of changes are included and what needs separate approval. A price without a description of the deliverable does not make two services comparable.
What affects scope and timing?
Start with the condition of the source material and current university requirements. A short document with many tables, sources or substantive changes may need more work than a longer, well-prepared text. Page count is only one pricing factor.
Set the order of tasks: which changes must happen before the next stage, what files or decisions are still missing and when the result can be reviewed. Timing also depends on the availability of those materials.
How can you assess the finished work?
Compare the finished file with the agreed scope, not just the number of edits. Check whether the document's structure, citations, tables and important comments remain intact. An order for one element is not automatically a full audit of the thesis.
Before submission, open both the editable version and the final PDF. Update the contents page and cross-references, then review passages affected by changes. Check compliance with university rules on the file you will actually submit.
How should you order the tasks?
Work backwards from the final deadline and list earlier decisions on which later tasks depend: topic approval, access to data, supervisor comments, editing and file submission. Mark what you can do independently and where you must wait for someone else.
Give each stage a verifiable result, such as an approved outline, complete dataset or final PDF. A task labelled only 'work on the chapter' hides progress; a small concrete deliverable makes the schedule easier to adjust.
What if comments or delays appear?
Group comments into content, method and technical issues. Resolve those that may change the aim or results first; fixing punctuation before rewriting a whole section wastes effort. Keep the original file and the comment history.
If you need another person's decision, send one concise question with possible options and identify the relevant passage. Meanwhile, work on a part that does not depend on the answer. Silence is not approval.
How do you finish without rushing?
Check the content and the file separately. For content, compare the aim with the conclusions, sources with citations, and tables with their discussion. For the file, check the contents page, numbering, filenames and final PDF appearance.
Reserve time for an unexpected correction, especially where the university requires approval in a submission system. Send the version you actually read after export and retain proof of submission under your department's procedure.
How do you test whether the schedule is realistic?
Allow separate time for drafting, supervisor feedback, revisions and the technical submission. If several stages depend on one decision, do not schedule them as parallel tasks. Set a review point at which you can narrow the scope without losing the answer to the main question.
Keep one current file and label older versions clearly. With each revision, note what was changed and what still needs a decision. Near the deadline, this list helps you address material errors instead of rereading the entire correspondence.
Summary
A rate per page is useful for initial budgeting, but does not describe the entire effort for an engineering project. Send technical requirements, project status and scope of documentation to receive a quote tailored to the actual work.
Frequently asked questions
Does 60 pages of engineering cost PLN 2,700?
This is the base price at PLN 45 per page and standard deadline. Technical scope, available materials and urgency may affect the final quote.
Does code or design count as regular pages?
Not always. The number of pages of documentation does not show the time required for code, calculations, measurements or tests. These elements need to be described and assessed separately.
Can I order only documentation editing?
Yes. If the solution and results are ready, you can estimate the cost of editing, organizing tables and figures, or formatting in accordance with the guidelines.
Need support with your work?
Describe the topic, scope and deadline. We will review the materials, recommend the right support and prepare a clear quote.
