The bibliography manager saves time, especially when the work contains several dozen publications. The program can store records, insert references, and generate a list of sources. However, automation does not free you from control - imported data often contains titles written in capital letters, no edition number or incorrect author's surname.
The best time to implement the tool is when you start working with literature. Transferring finished annotations to the new system just before the deadline is possible, but usually requires more time than manually organizing a short bibliography.
